Al Larose
PGA General Manager

Al started his PGA career in 1991 at the club he learned to play at in Vermont. He joined the Troon Golf team in 1997 and has been at top rated facilities such as The Ridge at Castle Pines North, Castle Rock, Colorado, The Westin LaPaloma Resort and Spa, Tucson, Arizona, and Whitetail Club, McCall Idaho. In his 21 years with Troon Golf he has held various positions from Assistant Golf Professional to General Manager, all giving him a unique perspective on the industry. His ultimate goal is to provide an unparalleled experience. Al lives with his wife Renee in Anthem and enjoys spending time with his daughter Gabriella and son Tyler.

Jimmy Pullano
PGA Head Golf Professional

Born in Lockport, IL, Jimmy moved with his family to Peoria, AZ in 1996. He did not begin playing golf until his freshman year at Peoria High School, but quickly fell in love with the game. He began working at Copper Canyon Golf Club and for Troon Golf in 2008 at the age of 17. Since that time he has held many positions throughout the Golf Operations department, eventually moving into the golf shop, and is now acting as the Head Golf Professional. He has a strong connection to the facility and it's golfers, and his mission is to make sure that each and everyday at Copper Canyon is special. Jimmy became a PGA member in 2016.

Scott McCall
Director of Agronomy and Golf Maintenance

Scott started playing golf at age 9, spending much of the summer at the local golf course. It was during these days that he became familiar with golf maintenance. His first job, other than working the farm fields of central Iowa, was mowing greens at Briggs Woods Golf Course. He continued to work at the golf course while studying Agronomy at Iowa State University. He worked 7 years at Crested Butte Country Club in Colorado as Assistant Superintendent. He spent his spare time golfing, fishing, riding mountain bikes in summer and snow skiing in winter! He moved to Phoenix in 1992 and worked as Superintendent at Union Hills Country Club and Sun City Grand. He has worked at Copper Canyon Golf Club from its inception. He has been a member of Golf Course Superintendents Association of America for 20 years. He is also a 20 year member of Cactus and Pine, Arizona's Superintendent Association. He has in past years and continues today, to help various entities with research of turf pests and the development of new products and ideas for controlling them. His family, wife Kathie of 19 years, and three children, Maddisen, Abbigayle and Clayton, keep him very busy at home.

Luke Unrein
Restaurant Manager

Luke was born in Chino Hills California. After graduating high school where he played Hockey and Water polo, he moved to Huntington Beach . He worked at Disneyland where he was Goofy and a candy maker on Main Street while he was going to college.  After College he found himself working for the YMCA as a Program Director for the camps and camping program in Big Bear California. That is where he found his love for service and taking care of people. He has worked for Chilies, On the Border, The Lazy Dog, Famous Dave’s, BJs Brewery and  the Macaroni grill. Wanting not to raise his kids in California, he and his Family (wife Michelle, and two daughters Abigail and Elizabeth) moved to Buckeye while working with Macaroni Grill.  Being an avid golfer, he has always wanted to mix his two passions, Golf and Hospitality. And in pursuit of that ( also with the recommendation from Herb and Marsha, two Festival residents he met that were dining at Macaroni Grill) he found Copper Canyon GC, and Troon Golf. Being in guest service  most of his adult life he has always been about creating the best dining experience and entertainment he could for his guest.  And that’s what he is doing here at  the Indigo Grille and Bar 28.  He wants you to be proud of your restaurant and bar, he wants it to have that neighborhood bar feel. Where your welcomed with a smile and Thanked on an exit.  So come on in, introduce yourself to him, you can always find him on the floor working  with his staff, or engaging with his guests.
